Where does the Yasso name come from?

‘Yassou’ in Greek means hello.

How was Yasso established?

Yasso was founded by childhood friends, Amanda Klane and Drew Harrington.

Amanda and Drew grew up in Easton, MA and met in kindergarten-probably during snack time. Years later, in July of 2009, Amanda and Drew teamed up to introduce the first frozen Greek yogurt bar to market. The two former Division 1 athletes embarked on a journey from scratch to create a good-for-you product of the highest quality in the frozen novelty category. After a degree from Ice Cream Camp (yep, seriously), countless road trips and over a year of research and development, they executed their first production run in the fall of 2011.

The first order of Yasso was delivered in March 2011 and Yasso has since become the fastest-growing frozen novelty brand in the United States. Consumers have become loyal fans and Yasso is now available in all 50 States. Amanda and Drew now lead a team of fun and energetic people who are passionate about creating desserts with benefits that are known for their delicious taste, nutritional benefits and quality.
